The UK's National Nuclear Laboratory (NNL) and the Wood Group have been awarded a three-year contract to carry out a key research project on fuels for advanced nuclear reactors. The contract - the value of which has not been disclosed - was awarded to the two organisations by the Department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy.
